JOHANNESBURG – Panic filled the halls of ANC headquarters, Luthuli House, after an unknown individual had left their boxer shorts in the building in the aftermath of the annual ANC Comrades Pyjama Party (ACPP). The ACPP is an annual celebration event that happens in Luthuli House to celebrate arrival of a warmer season and the continuation of old false promises. Defined by comrades as the only time they let loose apart from the national conference, party birthday party, celebrity parties, campaign launches and any other day where they do not have to face any level of accountability.

The ACPP is an annual celebration held at Luthuli House to celebrate the arrival of a warmer season and the continuation of old false promises. It is defined by comrades as the only time they let loose, apart from the national conference, party birthday parties, celebrity parties, campaign launches and any other day when they do not have to face any level of accountability.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a source told The Grapevine News that leaving a pair of boxer shorts behind is a disgrace and unacceptable given the standards and respect associated with the headquarters. “We can’t have comrades thinking that leaving your underwear is normal,” Mbalul—, I mean, the source said. “We are investigating and looking at the footage to see who this monster could be.”

In response to this, the ANC has ordered all men who attended the pyjama party and wear size 34 underwear to come forward. Interestingly, though, the underwear size means that a lot of the usual suspects can be ruled out.

The ANC did not respond when asked for comment.
